About this course
Clarity helps us to understand our users’ behaviour by visually representing their clicks, taps and scrolling. All data is anonymised. Classics involves the study of the literature, history, art and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome. Study of Latin and/or Greek language is possible at any level. You will have the opportunity to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of your programme. You will study the myth, literature, art, history, and politics of classical Athens and Augustan Rome. You will read Homer’s Iliad & Odyssey and Virgil’s Aeneid alongside the histories of Thucydides and Tacitus, works of Plato and Cicero, poems of Horace and dramas by Aristophanes and Euripides.
