This course offers a comprehensive and critical understanding of the ideas, concepts and issues central to economics, enabling you to better understand these issues and the world around you. You will study the core areas of microeconomics and macroeconomics and the application of basic mathematical and statistical techniques to the solution of economic problems. By engaging with modern policy issues and economic analysis, you will develop analytical abilities and critical appraisal skills.
