The BSc Geography and Sport Science course is a joint honours degree which aims to develop your understanding of how physical and social processes affect our rapidly changing planet, as well as enhance your knowledge of sport science. You will spend equal amounts of time studying each subject in each year and there is the opportunity to explore the relationship between geography and sport science in an optional final year dissertation. In the first year of our BSc (Hons) Geography and Sport Science degree, the geography modules span human and physical geography, ensuring you have a firm understanding of how social and physical processes vary within the context of places and regions. In the second and final year of this course, you can specialise in either human or physical geography or you can choose to maintain an equal balance between the two.
