Courses and universities

How the course and university library scores a course by what its graduates actually go on to do, not by the subject name alone.

What the score on a course means

A course's AI exposure score is not a guess based on its subject name. Where a course has published graduate destination data, real jobs its real graduates went into, the score is a weighted average of the exposure of those actual destinations. A computer science course whose graduates mostly become developers scores differently from one whose graduates mostly go into teaching, even with the identical course title.

Where a course has no published destination data, the page shows a dash rather than a guessed number, and says so. A missing score is never quietly filled in.

Searching the library

Search by course title or by university name. Results default to UK courses; a link on the results switches to worldwide, and back again.

Every result card shows the real published median salary alongside the exposure score, both sourced the same way: from that course's actual graduate outcomes, not from the subject in general.

Universities and colleges

The universities library covers every institution behind the course search, across dozens of countries. Each one opens a profile page and a course count, and links onward to that institution's classic profile on CourseMash, the same underlying data source, presented in a different design.

Same data, no reinvention

Course and university pages use the identical underlying data paths as CourseMash's own pages. Careermash does not run a second, competing dataset: it is the same numbers in the card design.
