The Role & Expectations
As a bingo caller or assistant, you will be responsible for creating an engaging atmosphere in the bingo hall, ensuring that players are entertained and informed throughout the game. This includes calling numbers clearly and enthusiastically, managing the flow of the game, and interacting with players to enhance their experience. You will also need to handle any queries or issues that arise, ensuring that all players feel welcome and valued. In addition to calling the numbers, you will assist with the organisation of events and promotions, which may involve setting up the hall, distributing materials, and managing the prize distribution. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively. You will often work as part of a team, collaborating with other staff members to ensure that the bingo sessions run smoothly.
