The Role & Expectations
As a toilet attendant, you will be the frontline guardian of cleanliness in public restrooms, ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include regular cleaning and restocking of supplies, monitoring the condition of the facilities, and addressing any customer concerns. This role is vital in venues such as shopping centres, airports, and large events, where high foot traffic demands constant attention to hygiene standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a pleasant atmosphere, which can significantly impact the overall experience of visitors.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of toilet facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Restock toilet paper, soap, and other supplies as needed throughout the day.
- Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and floors using appropriate cleaning products.
- Assist customers with any inquiries or issues related to the facilities.
- Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management promptly.
