Accountancy and economics is a combination that gives you both the technical professional skills of accounting and the analytical power of economics, two disciplines that are deeply complementary in the world of business and finance. Accountancy provides the tools for recording, reporting, and analysing financial transactions, for managing the financial health of organisations, and for the professional practice of audit, taxation, and financial advice. At the University of Glasgow, which has a strong reputation in both subjects and close connections with the Scottish and UK accountancy profession, you will study both disciplines over four years full-time.
