At Southampton Solent University, this three-year full-time degree gives you the freedom to pursue your ambitions as an actor while building practical experience in the industry. You will work across stage and screen, developing your technique in both forms and building the versatility that a professional acting career demands. The programme combines studio-based training with real-world experience, ensuring that what you learn is grounded in current professional practice.

You will develop your skills in text analysis, physical performance, voice, and characterisation, supported by a teaching team with professional backgrounds in the industry.

Graduates of acting and performance programmes work as professional actors in theatre, television, film, and digital media, as well as in corporate roleplay, community theatre, and arts education.
