Aerospace Engineering
Aerospace engineering is the discipline of designing and developing aircraft, spacecraft, rockets and the systems that sustain flight and space operations. At Brunel University London this programme, which includes a foundation year, provides a hands-on education designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to meet the real-world needs of the global aerospace industry. The foundation year builds the mathematical and scientific foundations needed before the main BEng begins, making the programme accessible to students who may not have studied certain subjects at A-level or who would benefit from a structured preparation before degree-level engineering content. You will then study aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, materials, avionics and systems engineering across the BEng years, developing both analytical depth and practical engineering capability through laboratory work, design projects and computational analysis.
