About this course

Agriculture with crop production science is a degree that addresses one of the most fundamental challenges of our time: how to produce enough food for a growing global population while managing the land, water, and environmental resources on which farming depends. Crop production science is the applied science of how plants grow, how they respond to management, and how yields, quality, and resilience can be improved through agronomy, plant breeding, pest and disease management, and precision agriculture technologies. At Harper Adams University, this four-year full-time programme develops your understanding of both the science and the practice of crop production within the broader agricultural context.
