Biomedical Science

Biomedical science is the set of disciplines that underpins modern medicine. It encompasses the study of the biological and biochemical mechanisms involved in health and disease, the laboratory techniques used to diagnose illness and monitor treatment, and the research that drives the development of new therapies.
