About this course

Business management with Spanish is a degree that takes seriously both the commercial world and the linguistic diversity of the globalised economy. Business management develops your capacity to think strategically, manage resources and people, analyse financial performance, and understand markets and organisational behaviour. Spanish, one of the world's most widely spoken languages with over 480 million native speakers, gives you direct access to a vast and diverse set of markets, cultures, and business environments across Spain and Latin America.

At Surrey, this four-year full-time programme integrates AI tools and digital skills throughout the curriculum, building the digital literacy, confidence, and creative thinking that employers in tomorrow's workplace value, alongside the foundational business management content. You will develop Spanish language proficiency alongside your business studies, and the programme includes a year abroad, giving you the opportunity to study or work in a Spanish-speaking country and to develop your language and cultural competency in a real immersive environment. The typical entry tariff is 120 points.

Graduates of business management with Spanish are well placed for careers in international business, export management, marketing in Spanish-speaking markets, consultancy, and roles with multinational organisations that have operations across Spain and Latin America. The combination of commercial training and Spanish language ability is consistently sought after by employers who need professionals capable of engaging across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Many graduates also pursue postgraduate study in business, management, or Spanish, building on the dual expertise the degree provides.

Exceeded expectations
Honestly, one of the best decisions I've made. The best part: the cohort are bright and motivated, which makes the learning environment great. If I'm honest, a few modules feel under-resourced compared to the flagship ones. On the city β€” lo…

A great decision
The programme genuinely lives up to its reputation. The best part: the opportunity to do independent research in the final year is a highlight. If I'm honest, would like to see more industry guest speakers in later years. On the city β€” loca…
