About this course

Business management with entrepreneurship recognises that the skills needed to create and grow ventures, whether new businesses, social enterprises, or innovative initiatives within larger organisations, are learnable, teachable, and genuinely transformative when applied. Entrepreneurial thinking, the ability to identify opportunities, tolerate and manage uncertainty, communicate a compelling vision, and mobilise people and resources towards a goal, is increasingly valued not just by people starting their own ventures but by organisations of all kinds seeking to innovate and adapt. Combining this with core business management education gives you both the analytical foundation and the entrepreneurial orientation to succeed in dynamic professional environments.

At Brunel this three-year full-time programme develops essential business skills alongside the entrepreneurial and innovation mindset that the programme is specifically designed to cultivate. You will study core business disciplines including strategy, marketing, finance, and operations, alongside dedicated content in entrepreneurship, including how ventures are conceived, launched, financed, and grown, and how innovation is managed within established organisations. The programme is relevant whether you want to start your own enterprise, enter a family business, or drive change from within a large organisation as an intrapreneur.

Brunel's location in London and its connections to a wide range of businesses and start-up communities provide a supportive environment for developing entrepreneurial ideas and professional networks.

Graduates find careers across business and management in a wide range of sectors, with a particular strength in entrepreneurial and innovation-focused roles. Some launch their own ventures immediately or within a few years of graduating, drawing on the skills and networks developed during the programme. Others join fast-growing companies or corporate innovation functions where the entrepreneurial mindset is directly valued.

Many also pursue postgraduate study including MBAs, master's programmes in entrepreneurship or innovation, or professional qualifications in finance and management.
