Business Psychology with Placement

Business psychology sits at the intersection of how organisations function and how individuals within them think, decide, and perform. This four-year full-time programme at Birkbeck College combines a grounding in introductory business with core areas of organisational psychology. You will study how people manage their careers, how teams form and break down, how organisations can be designed to bring out the best in their members, and how psychological research methods can be applied to workplace questions. A distinctive feature of the programme is its placement element: you will spend a sustained period working within a real organisation, gaining hands-on experience that allows you to test what you have learned in a live professional context before you complete your studies.
