About this course

Chemical engineering applies the principles of chemistry, physics, mathematics, and increasingly biology to the design and operation of industrial processes, from petrochemical refining and pharmaceutical manufacture to food production, energy generation, and advanced materials development. It is a discipline that translates scientific knowledge into real-world processes that must be safe, efficient, reliable, and increasingly sustainable.
