Civil Engineering

Civil engineering is the discipline responsible for the infrastructure that modern societies depend on: roads, bridges, tunnels, water systems, flood defences, buildings, and the networks that connect people and enable economic activity. At the University of Nottingham, the MEng or BEng Civil Engineering runs over four years of full-time study and includes a foundation year for students who need additional preparation, a sandwich year in industry, and work placement opportunities.
