Civil Engineering with Foundation Year

Civil engineering shapes the world that people live in. The sandwich and placement years give you the opportunity to work on real projects in real engineering organisations.

Graduates from civil engineering programmes move into careers in construction, infrastructure, transport, water engineering, environmental engineering, and urban development. The path to Chartered Engineer status is available through the relevant professional bodies, and many graduates work towards this through continued professional development after graduation. Further study at postgraduate level is another option for those who want to specialise in a particular area of civil engineering.
