At Edge Hill University, you will develop both as a practitioner and a critical thinker. You will explore performance skills alongside an examination of theatre's social and political role in the twenty-first century, considering how performance can challenge power, represent marginalised communities, and shape public discourse. The course includes a sandwich year, giving you extended time in the creative industries to apply your skills in professional settings, and options to study or work abroad broaden your perspective on theatrical traditions beyond the UK.
