Economics and Management

Economics and management together develop two complementary analytical frameworks for understanding how organisations and markets work. Economics provides the theoretical and quantitative tools to analyse how resources are allocated, how markets function, and how policy can improve outcomes for society. Management extends those insights into the practical challenge of leading and coordinating organisations, examining strategy, human behaviour, operations, and commercial decision-making.

Royal Holloway and Bedford New College's three-year full-time Economics and Management degree is provided jointly by one of the UK's top ten teaching and research centres for economics and the university's business school, as the course itself notes. The programme has a typical entry tariff of 120 points and includes a sandwich year, a year abroad option, and work placement opportunities. You will cover the core content of both the economics and management degrees, learning from internationally renowned experts who bring current research and experience to their teaching.
