Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science is one of the most demanding and distinguished economics degrees available in the world. At the LSE you will engage with the full range of economic theory and method, developing strong foundations in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics before exploring the field's breadth through topics in development economics, financial economics, public economics, labour economics and beyond. The programme includes a year abroad, which extends the full course over four years full time and provides the opportunity to pursue economics in a different intellectual environment.
