At Nottingham Trent University, this four-year programme includes a foundation year and a year abroad. The foundation year gives you a thorough grounding in the quantitative and analytical foundations of the subject, which is particularly valuable if your prior study has not included much mathematics or if you want to build confidence before tackling the full degree. As you progress through the programme, you will develop skills in microeconomic and macroeconomic theory, econometrics, and applied economic analysis.
