At Strathclyde, this four-year programme develops your understanding of education across a range of contexts alongside Spanish language proficiency and cultural knowledge. You will study theories of learning and development, curriculum, policy, and the social dimensions of education, building both the conceptual tools and the practical perspectives needed to work in educational settings. The Spanish strand takes you to an advanced level of linguistic ability, with engagement with the literature, culture, and contemporary life of Spanish-speaking societies.

Graduates are prepared for careers in teaching, both in English and in modern languages, following appropriate professional qualification.
