About this course

Learn how things work and apply engineering knowledge to solve real‑world challenges in electrical and electronic systems. If you are curious about how things work and have a keen mind for applying what you learn to solve real-world problems, engineering is the perfect career for you. Develop specialist knowledge of the scientific concepts, design and methods relating to electrical and electronic engineering products, processes and systems.

This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)* and the Institute of Measurement and Control (InstMC)*. More information is available on the School of Engineering website . *The IET and InstMC are scheduled to review a number of our Engineering programmes during 2026 as part of the standard accreditation process.

All students in the School of Engineering at Warwick develop an in-depth understanding of the classical principles of Engineering by following a general engineering programme for the first year.
