About this course

Electronic and communication engineering sits at the heart of the digital world. Every mobile network, every internet connection, every radio broadcast and every piece of consumer electronics depends on the work of engineers who understand how electronic circuits process signals and how communications systems transmit information reliably across distances. The field spans from the design of low-power integrated circuits and the programming of embedded systems to the architecture of wireless networks and the development of environmentally sustainable solutions to growing energy demands.

At the University of Huddersfield, this three-year full-time BEng develops the technical knowledge and practical skills this discipline demands.

You will build a solid foundation in electronics and communications theory, covering signal processing, circuit design, digital electronics, data communications and network architecture.
