English Language and Literature

English language and English literature, studied together, give you access to two distinct but deeply connected ways of understanding how language works. At Cardiff you will study this three-year full-time joint honours programme, combining systematic study of the English language with engagement with literature across a range of periods, genres, and critical perspectives.
