Events Management

Events management is the discipline of planning, organising and delivering experiences that bring people together, from corporate conferences and product launches to music festivals, sporting occasions and community events. At the University of Lincoln this three-year programme develops the full range of knowledge and skills the industry demands. You will study event planning and production, financial management, marketing and communications, venue management, risk assessment and the legal frameworks that govern public events. A sandwich year gives you a substantial period of professional experience within an events organisation, and work placements and a year abroad are also built into the programme.
