About this course

Forensic chemistry applies the precision and methodology of analytical chemistry to questions of law and justice. When evidence is recovered from a crime scene, it is chemists who identify substances, match samples to sources, detect trace elements, and provide the rigorous scientific analysis on which legal proceedings depend.
