Geography, environment and climate is a degree that sits at the heart of the most pressing challenges facing humanity. At Royal Holloway, University of London, this three-year, full-time BSc equips you to understand and address these issues with both scientific rigour and practical capability. You will study climate science, ecology, hydrology, pollution, and land use alongside the social, political, and economic dimensions of environmental change, developing the integrated understanding that tackling these challenges requires. The programme develops practical field skills alongside technological tools such as geographic information systems and remote sensing, preparing you for roles in professional environmental practice.
A sandwich year, a year abroad, and a work placement are all available, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills in real settings and to experience different environments and approaches to environmental management.
