Geography in its fullest form bridges the natural and social sciences, asking both how the physical world works and how human societies interact with it. Human geography explores the patterns and processes that shape where and how people live, including urbanisation, migration, economic development, and inequality. Physical geography investigates the Earth's landforms, climates, ecosystems, and natural processes, from glaciation and river systems to soil formation and biodiversity.

A combined human and physical geography degree gives you competence in both, along with the fieldwork and data skills that make geography one of the most practically versatile of the sciences.

At Keele University, this three-year full-time accredited BSc gives you a deep understanding of Earth's landscapes and environments alongside the dynamics of human societies and their relationship with the natural world.
