Global Health and Social Science
Global health and social science is an interdisciplinary programme that addresses one of the most pressing challenges of our time: the profound and persistent inequalities in health and wellbeing that exist between and within countries around the world. It asks why some populations live long, healthy lives while others face high rates of preventable illness and premature death, and it approaches these questions not simply as medical problems but as issues shaped by social, cultural, political, economic, and ethical forces. This requires drawing on multiple disciplines, including sociology, anthropology, politics, history, policy, science and technology studies, and bioethics.
King's College London's three-year full-time BA (Hons) in Global Health and Social Science carries a typical entry tariff of 136 points and includes a year abroad option.
