At Teesside University, this four-year full-time programme includes a foundation year, making it accessible to students who want to build their academic foundations before progressing into the main degree. It also includes a sandwich year in professional placement and a work placement, providing direct industry experience in a health-related context. You will engage with questions about how data is created, managed and used in health settings, including the ethical implications of big data and its application to healthcare decision-making, disease surveillance and community health.
