About this course

Fashion is one of the world's most globalised industries, and managing and marketing it effectively requires an understanding that goes far beyond aesthetics. International fashion management and marketing sits at the intersection of business strategy, brand development, consumer psychology, and cultural awareness, asking how fashion labels are created, positioned, and sustained in competitive international markets. It is a discipline that combines commercial rigour with creative sensitivity.

This programme at Coventry University is based in London, giving you direct access to one of the world's major fashion capitals and the industry networks, showrooms, and events that make it so. You will learn from experienced professionals and explore how different types of fashion labels, from luxury houses to fast fashion retailers, are created and developed. The curriculum covers areas including brand management, global supply chains, digital marketing, buying, and retail strategy, building the practical and conceptual tools needed to navigate a complex global industry.

The programme includes a sandwich placement year, a year abroad, and a work placement, providing substantial professional and international experience. It is studied part-time.

Graduates of international fashion management and marketing programmes go into roles in brand management, buying, merchandising, digital marketing, public relations, retail management, and fashion consultancy. The international focus of the degree is particularly valuable for roles with global fashion groups, retailers, or agencies operating across multiple markets. Many graduates also pursue postgraduate study in fashion business, luxury brand management, or international marketing, building on the professional experience they have gained during the degree.

Genuinely worthwhile
Honestly, one of the best decisions I've made. The best part: the consulting projects with real companies genuinely prepare you for the working world. If I'm honest, first-year classes can be quite large. On the city β€” local cost of living …
