About this course

International fashion management and marketing is a degree that addresses the business and commercial side of one of the world's most glamorous and competitive industries. Fashion is a global business, with design, sourcing, manufacturing, retail, and marketing functions spread across dozens of countries, and managing fashion organisations effectively requires both deep industry knowledge and the management skills to navigate that complexity. International fashion management combines the study of how fashion brands are created, developed, and managed with the marketing knowledge needed to communicate their identity and value to consumers across different cultural contexts.

At Coventry University, this four-year, full-time programme is based in London, placing you at the heart of one of the world's most significant fashion capitals and giving you direct access to the organisations, events, and professionals that shape the global fashion industry. The curriculum develops your understanding of how different types of fashion labels are created and developed, how fashion marketing operates across digital and physical channels, and how international supply chains and retail environments function. The programme includes a foundation year, a sandwich placement year, a year abroad, and work placement opportunities, giving you an unusually rich combination of academic, professional, and international experience.

Graduates work in fashion brand management, retail management, buying, merchandising, marketing, and communications across the global fashion industry. The combination of management and marketing knowledge with a London-based education and substantial professional experience is a strong foundation for roles in fashion businesses of all sizes, from independent labels to global luxury brands. Many graduates also go on to postgraduate study in fashion management, luxury brand management, or international business.
