You will study hospitality operations management, revenue management and pricing, food and beverage management, luxury brand strategy, human resource management in hospitality, financial management and the legal and regulatory environment of the international hotel industry. The placement year gives you direct industry experience in a hotel context, consolidating and extending your operational and managerial learning, while the year abroad extends your international perspective.

Graduates of international hotel management programmes work across the full range of hospitality contexts, including luxury and boutique hotels, international hotel chains, resort properties, serviced apartments, and hotel owning and investment companies. Management development programmes with major groups are a common graduate destination, as are operational management roles in rooms, food and beverage, and events. Many graduates also move into revenue management, hotel consulting, hospitality technology and real estate investment in the hotel sector.
