Law with Modern Languages

At Bangor University this programme includes a foundation year, giving you four years in total and a supported entry into degree-level study for those who need it. The course also includes a sandwich year and work placement experience, which means your time at university integrates genuine professional development alongside your academic studies. You will study the core foundations of law, including contract, tort, criminal law, constitutional and administrative law, and equity, alongside your chosen modern language or languages.

Language study is taken to a high level of proficiency, and you will develop cultural knowledge alongside linguistic skill, so you understand the societies whose languages you are learning.

Graduates from law and modern language programmes are particularly attractive to firms and organisations operating internationally.
