About this course

Management as a discipline encompasses the study of how organisations are led, how resources are allocated, how strategies are formed, and how people work together to achieve shared goals. It draws on economics, psychology, sociology, and quantitative methods, using these tools to examine why some organisations succeed and others fail, and how managers can improve the environments and processes they are responsible for. At Warwick, one of the UK's most highly regarded business schools, this four-year programme combines rigorous academic study with practical engagement, preparing you for leadership roles in a wide range of organisational contexts.

The programme begins with a foundation year designed to provide an accessible pathway into degree-level study for students who were unable to meet standard entry requirements due to challenging circumstances. Once into the main degree, you will study core areas of management including organisational behaviour, strategy, economics, marketing, and quantitative methods, building both breadth of understanding and the capacity to think critically about how organisations function. A sandwich year in industry and a work placement are built into the course, giving you substantial professional experience, and a year abroad offers the opportunity to study in an international context and develop a global perspective on management practice.

Warwick graduates in management are sought after across virtually every sector. Many enter management consultancy, financial services, technology, consumer goods, and public sector organisations. Others pursue entrepreneurial paths or join graduate training schemes with major employers.

The degree also provides excellent preparation for postgraduate study, including MBA programmes and research degrees in management and related fields. The combination of analytical foundations, practical experience, and international exposure that this programme provides is genuinely distinctive.

I was sceptical before starting β€” now I'd recommend it to anyone. The best part: the consulting projects with real companies genuinely prepare you for the working world. If I'm honest, first-year classes can be quite large. On the city β€” th…

A great decision
I've grown so much academically and personally here. The best part: the accounting and finance streams are taught by practitioners, not just academics. If I'm honest, first-year classes can be quite large. On the city β€” the city is a brilli…
