About this course

Mathematics and Finance at City St George's, University of London, is designed for students who want to combine a solid grounding in mathematical theory with the specialist expertise in finance and actuarial science that some of the most demanding professional roles require. Graduates work in investment banking, actuarial practice, risk management, asset management, financial consulting, quantitative research and the technology sector. The degree provides a strong foundation for professional qualifications with bodies such as the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute. Postgraduate study in financial mathematics, actuarial science or economics is a natural continuation.
