At Edge Hill University this three-year full-time programme develops your understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications, supporting students who enjoy problem solving, logical thinking, and analytical work. You will study core areas including analysis, algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematics, developing both rigorous theoretical understanding and the ability to apply mathematical methods to real problems. A sandwich year and a year abroad are incorporated into the degree, giving you the opportunity to gain professional experience in a mathematical or analytical role and to study at a partner institution abroad, broadening your perspective and strengthening your professional profile.

A work placement is also built into the degree.
