Medical engineering applies engineering principles and methods to the design, development, and improvement of the technologies used in healthcare. At the University of Leeds, this four-year full-time programme includes an industrial placement year built into the degree, giving you a year of professional engineering experience in a medical device, healthcare, or technology company before you graduate.
