Across the degree you will explore cell and tissue biology, genetics and embryology, human development, and the anatomy and physiology of the major human organ systems, building a systematic understanding of the body from its most fundamental structures to its integrated functions.

The programme also includes a sandwich placement year, during which you gain hands-on experience in a professional or research environment. This applied exposure is invaluable for understanding how scientific knowledge translates into practice and for building the professional networks and skills that employers value.
