Arabic, Spanish, and management is a three-way combination that prepares you for leadership roles in some of the world's most dynamic and strategically significant regions. Arabic is the dominant language of the Middle East and North Africa, spoken by more than 400 million people and central to an extraordinarily rich cultural, literary, and intellectual tradition that spans over a thousand years. Spanish connects you to Spain and to the rapidly growing economies of Latin America.

Management provides the analytical and practical tools to understand how organisations operate, compete, and adapt in complex international environments.

At the University of St Andrews, this four-year full-time degree develops genuine competence in both Arabic and Spanish alongside a rigorous grounding in management principles. The Arabic strand gives you command of both the classical and modern forms of the language, alongside engagement with the cultures, politics, and histories of the Arab world. The Spanish component builds linguistic fluency and cultural depth in a second major world language.

The management element develops your understanding of business strategy, organisational behaviour, and the economic forces that shape how firms operate globally. The programme includes a year abroad, which is essential for developing the authentic language fluency and cross-cultural confidence that this combination demands.
