At the University of Hull, this three-year full-time programme is designed for musicians who want to inspire others and to develop the skills needed to work as peripatetic music teachers, classroom specialists, animateurs or arts practitioners across community and educational settings. You will develop your own musical competence alongside an understanding of music education theory and practice, learning how to design and deliver musical experiences for people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities. You will engage with the challenges and possibilities of working in schools, arts organisations, community groups, healthcare settings and other contexts where music plays a role in learning and wellbeing.
