Music Technology and Composition sits at the intersection of musical creativity and technical practice. At the University of Huddersfield, this full-time three-year BMus programme develops your skills in both acoustic and DAW-based music creation, as well as in production and performance. You will explore composing for specific instruments and ensembles alongside using the studio and computers as tools for sound manipulation and multimedia work, building a broad and technically versatile creative practice. The programme includes a sandwich placement year and work placement opportunities, giving you sustained professional experience in the industry before you graduate.
