At the University of Cumbria, located in one of the UK's most spectacular landscapes, this three-year full-time degree combines theoretical study with extensive practical experience. You will develop expertise in a range of adventurous land and water-based activities, learning to plan, facilitate, and debrief outdoor experiences at a professional level. Academic study in education, leadership, psychology, and environmental science underpins your practical development, giving you frameworks for understanding what outdoor education achieves and why.
