Pharmaceutical sciences is the study of drugs and medicines at a molecular level: how they are designed, synthesised, formulated, tested, and developed into products that are safe and effective for patients. At the University of Nottingham, this programme includes a foundation year, providing structured academic preparation for students who benefit from additional scientific grounding before entering degree-level study.
