About this course

Pharmaceutical Sciences sits at the intersection of chemistry, biology and medicine, concerned with how drugs are discovered, developed, formulated, tested and brought to patients. You will learn from research-active experts and train in advanced laboratory facilities, including clinical simulation environments that prepare you for the realities of professional scientific work. A sandwich year is available, giving you a year of professional placement experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or personal care industries before your final year, and work placement is also integrated throughout.
