At the University of Lincoln, the philosophy degree approaches these questions through both the canonical texts of the tradition and the work of contemporary philosophers. You will engage with Plato, Descartes, Nietzsche, Marx, and Wittgenstein alongside cutting-edge contemporary research in metaphysics, ethics, philosophy of mind, political philosophy, and epistemology. The programme runs over three years full-time and includes a sandwich year and a work placement, which provide professional experience that complements the theoretical depth of the degree.
