About this course

Physics is the fundamental science, seeking to understand the laws that govern everything from the smallest subatomic particles to the largest structures in the universe. It encompasses classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum theory, relativity and particle physics, and it underlies almost every significant technological development of the past century, from lasers and semiconductors to medical imaging and satellite navigation.
