Plant Science

Plant science is the study of plants as living systems, examining how they grow, reproduce, photosynthesise, respond to their environment and interact with other organisms. Plants are foundational to life on Earth, producing the oxygen we breathe, forming the base of almost every terrestrial food chain, regulating water and carbon cycles, and providing the raw materials for food, fibre, fuel and medicine.
