Professional Policing with Foundation Year

You will study criminal law, human rights, safeguarding, diversity and inclusion, evidence-based policing, ethics and the social and political contexts of law enforcement, alongside the personal and professional development that the role demands.
The course includes a sandwich year, a year abroad and work placements, giving you direct experience in operational and professional settings throughout your studies.
Graduates are well positioned to apply for police constable roles in England and Wales, with the degree satisfying the educational requirements of the Police Education Qualification Framework. Over a policing career, routes open up into detective work, specialist investigation, public protection, counter-terrorism, cybercrime and senior leadership.
